So long to the waiting month: February. We love you and everything else, but we sure don't fret your passing. March, and sun will be upon us soon.

And perhaps most importantly: the Bigfoot Ale can be purchased at Silver Lake Liquor: $9.99 for a sixer. Do the math, and factor in the alcohol content. It'll lay you low. Introduced to me by Roughfisher, one year ago.

Consider that rainbow lucky. A month and a half from now and that bad boy would be sitting next to that beer on the stove. Glad to see your getting out. Looking forward to eating a meal of trout again.
You said it. That was no small rainbow, but given specie I may well have knocked it had the season been right. Some other fish were right in the frying pan groove.
BTW: never tied on a nymph or dry fly. Fished baby trout streamers down and across.
